anyway, less about my catlady-ness and more about europa. i'm so glad i decided to do this blog bc it finally gives me an excuse to take random touristy pretentious pictures of myself in public places. the people here are so understanding though--sort of like the employees of disney land. they just get it. i might as well be wearing a fanny pack and mouse ears and traveling with a pack of asians because i stick out like my ex-roomate's lack of a thumb. here i am though. and i am loving every minute of it. if i didn't already want to move here i certainly do now.
yesterday was nana's birthday so we bought her a couple of bouquets from the market downtown shipston--they smell amazing. kind of like what i imagine the wedding in the first sex and the city smelled like. expensive and botanical. i'm running out of battery on my laptop now though and i can't find an american outlet anywhere in nana's house so i'm going to shut up now. not that i expect any of you to do anything other than glance at the pictures and bypass this outrageously garrulous text/soap box. donc, au revoir!

first of all, you're absolutely the cutest thang i ever did see. those pictures are just fabulous. wish i could be there so terribly. but hey, that's life.
ReplyDeletesecond, your soapbox was highly entertaining and i cannot wait to hear about more of your trip. tell the nanz happy bday from the states! by the wayyy, you might need to continue this when you go to school. sound like a plan? kay, cool.
i love you like a madwoman and can't wait for you to come visit me [possible joke]. hug europe for me.
i would hug it for you only they don't do much of that sort of thing here unfortunately... SO i will have tea and biscuits with it. on your behalf of course. and bonnie's already suited up for her big trip to KNOXLAND.
ReplyDeletelove you dearly.
